The Bill Muster Foundation

Bill Muster started a private foundation in the late 1980s to support the causes he believed in: photojournalism, interpersonal communication, documentary making, and education. His children, Nori and Bill Muster, have expanded the causes to include human rights, environmental justice, and other liberal causes.

The Muster Foundation sponsors an educational scholarship for photojournalism at UCLA, contributes to other universities; gives fiscal support to the International Documentary Association (IDA), and other organizations. The top priority of the Bill Muster Foundation is to fund the Bill Muster Photo Showcase, which takes place at the annual convention of the Society for American Travel Writers (SATW).

"We are not the Carnegies or Rockefellers, but we do a good job at what we do," said Nori Muster, one of the trustees. To contact Nori click here. To see the lawfirm that handles the Foundation, Magasinn and Feldman, click here.
