These two photos show the same tree. The top photo was taken in December 2001, the second in Feb. 2003 after a terrible tree trim. See detail photos below, from the same roll of film 02/03.






Ed's. Note: This tree was taken down in the fall of 2003. No new tree was planted in its place by the time I moved in 2005.

These pictures show the difference between a tree that has been topped and a tree that is growing in its natural shape. Note the ball that has formed around the topped branch (above).




The same ball shown from a different angle - note how suckers grow from the cut branch, but the tree will never look like it did before the bad trimming.




This photo shows how beautiful a tree can look when left to grow out naturally.
